This random mix will be picked from all of our mill waste darning yarn ranges:  including luxurious 100% cashmere, soft merino and eye-catching variegated yarns.
 
With 12 cards of yarn you'll get a variety of colours, textures and thicknesses perfect for visible repairs to knitted garments such as holey socks, jumpers and well-worn gloves.
 
Beautifully presented in one of our chain stitched paper bags - ready to gift to someone special if that's what you had in mind!
 
Each card contains approximately 10m (33 ft) of yarn.
 
All these beautiful yarns have been rescued from luxury British and Italian mills - it's actually leftover surplus yarn from the textile production process and which was destined for landfill.
 
The majority of our mill waste yarns contain no added synthetic fibres, unlike most darning wool or mending yarns. The addition of polyester/nylon makes yarn more hard-wearing, but sadly it releases micro-plastics in the wash and take forever to biodegrade in the enviroment. We prefer to source pure yarn which helps to reduce our impact on the planet!
